minicom linefeed

minicom shows the returned value from a device without linefeed as default. It is weird, so enable the linefeed by CTRL-A Z and A. Here

Toggle 'Add Linefeed' on/off. If it is on, a linefeed is added before every carriage return displayed on the screen.
