RTL8188ce Wireless on Debian WheezyComputer/linux 2012. 7. 25. 00:27
It was a pain to activate the RTL 8188ce on Debian Squeeze, so I decided to switch Wheezy, because the new kernel supports it well.
The following is the output of lspci
07:00.0 Network controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8188CE 802.11b/g/n WiFi Adapter (rev 01)
But after following the Debian wiki, the wireless still didn't work.
What I forgot to run after the command aptitude install firmware-realtek is
modprobe -r rtl8192ce && modprobe rtl8192ce
So the weird new window manger finds the wireless device automatically.
