My laptop has "Intel PRO/Wireless 2200", thus I must care about it before starting installation. And I decided not to use wireless, but to use a wired network. See http://wiki.debian.org/ipw2200
Installation & Configuration
answered all questions what Debian asked me :-)
one small bug(?) I found is the debian told me he/she found another OS (MS blabla), but the grub 2 doesn't correct add it into the boot menu. I fixed this after login debian later by typing "update-grub" . See the more for GRUB2 http://grub.enbug.org/Manual. One thing I want to say there is no menu.lst file now.
No xorg.conf file I copied my old configuration file into /etc/X11/ directory, but I didn't test dual and extended screen setting. See how to set Xorg.conf xorg.conf with an external monitor
One interesting thing is that with gnome I cannot set "Super" Key, I don't know why people calls this window key as "super", to launch "xterm" in the keyboard shortcut setting. But it works fine with lenney. Whatever, I use FVWM, my old configuration works 100% same as before. I don't care about it.

Impression is biased by my humble point of view
faster and simpler than Ubuntu (This opinion is biased by my personal view)
I have to spend more time to be settling down in order to do some productive works :-) But I like to learn "Debian" !!
