gnome-keyring can't connect to pkcs11 file

citadel 2013. 3. 26. 11:16

I use fvwm as a window manager on Linux since 2007. So it is difficult to understand  what GNOME is doing currently. Anyway, gnome-keyring keeps bugging me about gnome-keyring. So far I ignore this message. But now I cannot stand it. So try to find how to do workaround this issue.

Follow  up some bug reports

http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=653011

https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=660240

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-keyring/+bug/932177

But none of them give me the right solution.

So I decide to execute the following command after I login into fvwm first time. It is stupid, but it's ok now.

$ gnome-keyring-daemon --start --components=pkcs11,gpg,secrets
GNOME_KEYRING_CONTROL=/home/jhlee/.cache/keyring-nMpNAp
GPG_AGENT_INFO=/home/jhlee/.cache/keyring-nMpNAp/gpg:0:1

So svn is now happy with no error such as

$ svn --username jhlee checkout http://192.168.101.24/svn/test .
Checked out revision 0.
